    Post types, taxonomies and functionalities

    Hello,
For one client I'm looking for the best solution for a job board. So I have some question.

How many post types are created by jobRoller ?

How many taxonomies per post_type ?

The candidate and employer have different roles and capacities ?

    Does the candidate can :
    1.- Follow company
2.- Add to favorites a job offer
3.- keep track of jobs that he have applied?

    Does the employer :
1.- Have a history of candidates that have applied for a job ?
2.- can add a note per candidate and per job ?

The communication between employer and candidate is made by email or the plugin has some way to handle this ?

Thanks in advance for your answer.

JobRoller has the custom post type "Jobs" for job listings and "Resumes" for resume/cv's. Within those you can create as many categories as you like.

Yes, the employer can post job listings and view the resume database, whereas job seekers cannot post jobs, they can create resumes and add jobs to favourites.

There is no option for the job seeker to follow a company, but yes they can "star" (favourite) job listings, see recently viewed jobs, and view job recommendations in their customer dashboard.

Employers are sent applications via email, so there is nothing specifically built into the theme to record application data. There is no option to add notes.

As mentioned above, communication between the job applicant and employer is direct through email via the "Apply Online" button on the job listing page. Thanks.

You can set the option for admin to be bcc'd on job applications via the job listing pages, this simply gives you a copy of the email, but further communication between the employer and job seeker is directly between them. Thanks.
