Retaining content from another WP Site when I upload

Hi,

I have a Wordpress site with content that I'd like to keep for the blog part of my Vantage listing site when I upload the new Vantage theme.

When I upload the Vantage theme does it override all content that I have, or will it retain the content just like most theme installations on Wordpress?

All you're doing is changing the theme, so all your posts/pages/links, etc will remain. How they will look, however, will depend on the structure of Vantage.

Hi Ferg, no the content from your existing WordPress site will not be deleted when you activate Vantage. The existing "posts" will remain as "posts" in Vantage and appear in the blog section of the installation by default, so if that is where you want them, it should be an easy transition. We still recommend you complete a full backup before any upgrade or change of this nature ;) Thanks.
