Vantage child theme

Yes I was looking at the Vantage theme and found a child theme directory that's only 39 dollars instead of 99. What the difference between these child themes and the full 99 dollars theme?

A child theme will not function without the parent theme installed, it's not a matter of one or the other. If you're planning to use a child theme e.g. Directory for Vantage, you must also purchase Vantage otherwise Directory will not work. You can however, use Vantage without a child theme. Thanks.
