Hello AppThemes. Love your work, very interested in Vantage.

Do you know if Vantage plays well with plugins for managing Custom Post Types, PODs in particular?

We don't officially support third party plugins, so unfortunately we cannot guarantee that they will definitely be compatible with our themes. If you have the name of a specific plugin we can search the forums for any community discussion, but other than that, we wouldn't be able to confirm for sure. Thanks.

The specific plugin is called the Pods Framework: http://pods.io/

It's a powerful plugin for creating and managing Custom Post Types. It can also modify existing Custom Post Types (and the built-in Post Types) by adding fields and even relationships between them. For example it may make possible a parent/child link between Listings and Events. So the Event could display the Business' location/contact dets, and a Business Listing page could display a link to all it's Events.

I've done a search and there is a few mentioned of the pods plugin being used with Vantage which indicates there has been some success with using it, however I'm not sure this was entirely out of the box without any additional customization, nothing recent though. One particular excerpt from a thread about the use of the plugin which was from back in January before additional custom forms/functionality was included in the theme by default:

Sorry this isn't entirely confirming what you're after but it at the very least indicates that the plugin wasn't completely incompatible. You'd likely need to make some additional modifications in order for it to work properly. Thanks.
