Volunteer Matching Service
I need to create a portal on a subdomain which allow health professionals to search for volunteer opportunities based on skill set and/or location.
The main domain owners do not want to be responsble for approving applicants, or performing much maintainance work - it is up to the people providing the opportunity to accept applicants or not. The owners want it as automated as possible.
The portal is a way to link together the volunteer and the organisation which requres the volunteer. So it will need to function similar to a job search website, but perhaps more like a dating website, where 2 parties are matched.
However, when a volunteer is accepted for a position, it can still remain open for other volunteers to participate in that position. It is not limited to one succesful candidate.
