Can I use the Wordpress Ideas app to gather ideas from staff. How secure wil this information be. I would like to host the app on a secure domain within our existing internal platforms (company intranet). Is this possible? Will the information that is collated and submitted be secure and private for only company employees to view?

If it's set up as you describe on the company's intranet then yes it should work. If it were to be set up on a regular hosting provider you could potentially use plugins such as "network privacy" as mentioned here which restricts access to the site also. Thanks.
