The Attack Of The Monster Slugs

I'm having some fun and games with the category slugs...



First parent category is slugged as:

---> for-rent/auckland/auckland-city/avondale/sunny-house-for-rent

However the second parent category is getting slugged as:

---> for-sale/auckland-for-sale/auckland-city-auckland-for-sale/avondale-auckland-city-auckland-for-sale/sunny-flat-for-sale

whereas I want it to read:

---> for-sale/auckland/auckland-city/avondale/sunny-house-for-sale



CP doesn't like to use the same slug even when it's under a completely different parent category, and as a result the slugs get really long.

Is there a way around this?
