    blog is missing after update

    So, I finally updated and it was exactly like I expected---a total cluster !@#$! One of the million problems I now have is my blog is missing. So, I saw that it was no longer on my nav menu. I went to menu to reactivate the blog page and now when I click on blog it goes no where. I had a "from the blog" widget in my sidebar and I can click on my two blog posts and get to them. What happened? And how do I fix this? I'm so frustrated... I thought the reason to have a child theme was to make updating easy?
