Cannot go back to previous page after getting error message.

I tried to post a sample ad to test out the classipress plug-in before I publish my site. I tried to post a picture that's exceeds the kb limit I set and I got this message:

image.jpg exceeds the 500 KB limit by 1,082 KB. Please go back and upload a smaller image.

Which is fine. But the problem is, it won't let me go back to the the previous page to fix the problem. Whether it's by clicking on the "Go back" button or using the back button on my explorer toolbar, it just won't let me go back.

I actually have to start from scratch and write out the ad all over again. Which is something that will definately anger potential users of my site.

Please help...
