Thread: Change url to exclude 'ad-category'

Change url to exclude 'ad-category'

Currently, when I navigate from the homepage on my website Categories>Touring Caravans, the url in the browser shows http://touringtrader.co.uk/ad-catego...ring-caravans/ I'm resuming this maybe something to do with permlinks but I'm not sure, is it possible and is it a good idea to remove the 'ad-category' part so the the url is just http://touringtrader.co.uk/touring-caravans/

Likewise, if I navigate to a particular ad: Home>Categories>Sample Ad 4 the URL shows this http://touringtrader.co.uk/ads/test-ad-4/ when really I think it should show http://touringtrader.co.uk/touring-caravans/test-ad-4/
