Changing order of categories

I installed a plugin called "Category Order" (Category Order | WordPress Guy) that was recommended in an earlier post so as to put categories in an order that is not alphabetical.

However, the plug-in is operating under the "Posts" section, rather than the "Ads" section. Is there a way to get it under the Ads section, since it's the Ad categories I want to be able to organize?

Also, shouldn't I be able to re-organize according to "ID"? I tried giving the categories slug names with numbers (1, 2, 3) but that didn't seem to work.

[By the way, I'm not sure if I should have added this as a reply to the earlier thread, or start a new one. I'm new at this. And also, does one get notified when there's a response, or do I just keep checking back here?]
