Classipress Ad Submission Bug

I hope it is the right place to submit a bug. i guess no one has noticed it till now, i have given the theme for its Advance Search modification and they are facing one problem. here is the description.
When submitting new ad, user selects the Category and from 2nd drop down the sub-category of the ad and the next for all the other fields.
the problem is when user selects the second or sub-category that ad is not added in the parent category. that ad is submitted in child category only.
for example if there is parent category Toyota and sub category Corolla. if i am going to post an ad, i will select Toyota and in sub-category i will select Corolla. when the ad is posted, from back end when we check this ad belongs to Corolla(Child Category) only not to Main (Toyota) which is causing problem for my advance search mod.
i hope it is clear. i had 1 week discussion with the developers but today we find out that this is the bug in the theme. Apptheme team if you can please test it or if it is already fixed or if there is any other option from admin panel kindly let me know. the option "Allow posting in parent category" option does not work.
