Classipress and wp-admin protection
I'm protecting my wp
-admin by password as I usually done for all my wordpress blogs. but after installing Classipress theme and when a user try to access "Edit profile" section a popup window opens and says
A username and password are being requested by http://www.mydomain.com
. The site says: "protected area"). while "protected area" is the name I gave to wp
-admin folder when password it.
This is happening in firefox and we.8.
If the user click (cancel) the popup window disappear and he get access to his profile page.
This is very annoying and I would appreciate if someone can teach me how to deal with this.
Should I remove wp
-admin password or maybe there is a safer way?
