Common v3.0.5 post-upgrade problems
I just thought I would compile a list of some of the common problems and questions which are likely to come up as people start to upgrade to this latest version. If your problem is not here, or in an existing thread, please feel free to start a new thread. I will also add to the thread if there are any more frequently asked questions..
Problem: When you click on ads after the upgrade, they are all showing a 404 page not found error.
The first thing to do is re-save your permalinks settings. Literally just go to the permalinks screen in your
wp-admin dashboard and click the save button. This will refresh your permalinks and should resolve the problem in most cases.
Problem: The search bar is out of alignment
This could happen if you have a lot of categories, or categories with long names. You can resolve this by going to your ClassiPress admin dashboard > Settings, and under "Search Field Settings" you can change the "Search Field Width".
Problem: You have lots of categories and the "Price Per Category" screen appears to cut-off some of the boxes so you can't add prices.
This is another new field you can change from the ClassiPress admin dashboard > Settings, "Advanced" tab. You can change the
"Admin Table Width" to suit.
Problem: Title and description text not aligned on the homepage.
Go to your ClassiPress "Settings" page and "Advanced" tab. Then change the "Ad Box Right Side" drop-down to "Normal Full Width"
Problem: Ad listing view layout on the homepage issues, including price tag missing.
Go to your ClassiPress "Settings page > "Advanced" tab, and change the "Use Google CDN jQuery" to "Yes",
