Critical Error as a result of trying to modify footer links
I have been following a tutorial on how to change the footer text and links in Classipress theme via
theme-footer.php and upon trying to save the updated file I receive this message...
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in
D:\Hosting\9746988\html\wp-content\themes\classipress-3.1.9\classipress\includes\theme-footer.php on line

I have tried restoring the original code for the file but cannot save and now I receive the same message every time I try to navigate to any part of my Wordpress dashboard so I can't even re-install the theme and start over.
Any advice from seasoned Classipress-ers?
