Displaying Custom field on ad listings

First, wish to thank you for a great theme, almost perfect

quick look around forums unable to find answer, feel free to point me in the right direction if this question has been queried in the past.

I noticed it appears only mandatory custom fields are displayed on the ad listings.

1. Is there a way to be able to publish non-mandatory custom fields on ad listings - that just leaves either a blank and/or default text

2. I also require that these fields are only displayed to logged in users.

eg, custom field - "contact phone number" to be non-mandatory and only displayed to logged in users - and not seen by the general viewing public.

If this functionality is not build in by default, I will be seeking a developer willing and capable of such development (feel free to pm me with costings/quotes/rates).
