Drop down menu on home page not working

Hi guys,

I've since updated to your new Classipress theme. It looks great but I'm have a few problems.

Is anyone else having trouble getting the Category drop down menu in the navigation bar to work? I've looked at the code behind it and it looks as though it is trying to find the new custom post type headings but it certainly isn't populating for me.
Any ideas?

Secondly how on earth do I search the new category structure? I was using the Custom Search plugin before so users could filter the results. While this still works for country, post code and region etc, the users can't select a category anymore as it is empty. I've tried to populate this field to show the new categories (or custom post types if you prefer) but I just can't work out what I'm supposed to put in there.

Any help would be great.
