    duplicating classipress folder for child theme

    Hi , i currently have a child theme i purchased but needs an update, but while a fix gets sorted can i duplicate the classipress folder but give it a different name and use as a child theme.
    im pretty sure im right, but just to be sure :O) as i need to work on my website.
