    Google maps address issue

    Not sure why this occurs, but in google maps, if I place "rd" or "road" or "street" in the street name field, the map will not render. I need to remove these words before the maps shows correctly. Either this is done in code or I need to caution the user not to use these words. It seems strange that google maps will not just ignore these extras in the street name. Who is going to type "200 Main" when its really "200 Main Road"
