    How To change default Custom Field Type from drop down to text box

    The default custom field for “state” is a drop down field type.

    If I intend to use my classified site for worldwide advertisers, it would not be workable to list all the countries’ states. And you can't leave it blank.


    How can I change the field type from drop down to just text box for this default “state” field?
