    how to keep categories structure

I am planning on using v classipress-pro-ed-3.0.4 on a site i just set up with the code, I spent a lot of time adding all the categories and sub categories.
Since this new version has so many issues and I would like to deploy without a lot of code changing, can someone explain in detain how to retain the category structure and revert to 3.0.4.

Or, upgrading to As well as a list of things that are not working at this time with a new install.
