    How to make/modify custom urls and post urls as per my needs?

    Hi,
    I want to appear urls for my site in such a way that they don't use 'ads' or 'ad category' words in them.

    For an example, if i click on an ad category named,'job openings' , it opens/shows in as http://adsnity.com/ad-category/job-openings/

    rather i want it be opened as http://adsnity.com/job-openings/
    (without the word ad-category)

    and if i open any individual ad its url goes like this:
    http://adsnity.com/ads/my-first-classified-ad/

    rather than this i want to appear it as
    http://adsnity.com/my-first-classified-ad/
    (without 'ads' word in there)

    Can i do so, is it possible, if yes, please advise how can it be done?
