how to remove most popular tab

I know this has been posted before but can someone please tell me how to do this again. I lost all the formatting when I upgraded the theme and I really need to get this job done today.

Please don't post a link to another thread. Just tell me how to do it.

I've tried accessing links to other threads and am getting the message that I don't have permission to access the threads even though I am logged in. I asked this question in another thread, but it seems like information is hard to come by sometimes, so I'm begging - I've had so many problems with this theme today and am so far behind in what I need to get done that I'm just about in tears.
