How to stop the automated spam registrations!
My site was getting a lot of new user accounts that had random letters for the username and email address so I installed WP-reCAPTCHA about three weeks ago and these daily bogus registrations stopped until yesterday. WP-reCAPTCHA is enabled, but I'm getting about five spam user registrations per hour. I've done a test registration and WP-reCAPTCHA worked for me. Why is it allowing all of these spam user accounts? What's the best way to stop these auto registrations?
