Question How to Paste HTML Widget Code On Pages

Hello ClassiPress Experts, I would like to install a number of (different) widgets on my "home" (and other pages) as I go along - but simply do not know how to go about this (i.e., if I would like the widget to appear e.g., at the top or right/left-hand side of any particular page - "where" do I paste the copied HTML code - to effect the installation - and make sure it appears where I want it to appear??). Also do not know where or how to install affiliate program logos & links? To save time, if there is a tutorial I could study re: this presently perplexing issue, please direct me to it. Sincere thanks for all your help. Best wishes, Royal Star.
