How do you turn featured listings off with memberships?

As I have posted in another thread when I want to charge for featured listings but it does not redirect to paypal and comes up with total cost of $0 see http://forums.appthemes.com/does-mem...-thanks-23630/

Therefore until I know the answer to this I would like to turn off the featured listings, what are the correct settings to have featured listings turned off whilst using memberships?

The only option with memberships appears to be 'only charge for featured ads' but then it comes up with free listing unless featured, even if the featured listing is turned off.

So from what I can gather my only option is to have free featured listing as it will not charge them and I cannot remove them, is this correct?

Has anyone else been able to charge for featured listings??
