Thread: if edit moderation is turned off, users are not able to edit their pending ad

if edit moderation is turned off, users are not able to edit their pending ad

If edit moderation is turned on (Classipress > Settings > Listings: "Manually approve and publish user edited ads") users are able to edit pending ads. This is how it should be, as if I do not approve ads and I send notifications to the users as to why, and then they have the option to edit their pending ad to fix issue.

However, if I turn edit moderation off, users are not able to edit their pending ads (the edit pencil icon does not show up).

Ideally I would like to turn edit moderation off, as I get dozens of ads get edited everyday and it is too much work approving all edits. But I need users to still have the ability to edit pending ads. There is also the unresolved rewrite permalink issue (when edit ads is on).

Anyway to fix this, so I can turn edit ads off?
