Image limit (max images) not working

Hi. I'm trying to change the max images on the ad settings but it's not working properly. The quantity is not displayed on the create listing page and the user may upload as many images as he wants. I've checked the code and realized that the $options['allowed_files'] is empty. I override the variable, but the count error still happens. I'm using the flash upload.
