Increasing Categores Viewable 3.0.5.1 Very Important

It appears that its only listing under the Main Parent Category

10 sub categories on the homepage ( when I have more )
Then only 5 under the menu
And then showing them all in the search drop down

1. How do i increase how many sub categories its showing on the homepage and if 10 is the only amount you can there needs to be a link that says... view more categories or see more so people know there is more as right now they cant see if there is more

2.How do i increase how many are seen in the menu categories drop down? is there a way to have a link to view more there too?


Remember you cant let people GUESS or ASSUME that more subcategories exist

You have to either

A. Show them
B. Show a link which indicates there are more for that parent

Please Advise!
