Issues due to update patch to

Several issues since installing the patch for 3.0.5.3 and I have spent hours and hours tonight and last night trying to find answers in the forum but not much luck.

First of all, the index.php in the editor has no code except to say "this page left blank intentionally..."; therefore when I want to make any of the changes suggested in this forum such as the tutorial http://forums.appthemes.com/featured...3-0-5-a-14112/ I am unable to work with it.

The categories link does not work and I tried all the suggested ideas I could find in the forum including deactivating all the plug-ins and re-activating them one at a time.

The widgets are not working at all...no way to drag them over, etc. There was mention of this in any lists I could find...not complete answers anyway.

Then the "featured listing". I do not want to charge for any listings right now so I have entered "yes" to show featured ad but $0 for the charge. I even put 5 ads in as suggested in this thread: http://forums.appthemes.com/featured...display-14113/. Nothing shows...nothing at all.

I have been working on this site for 6 months off and on...every time I get back into it there is an update. I know nothing of jquery, a little about php, and a lot about wordpress blogs but this is my first classipress theme.

I inquired in a PM about hiring someone to help me get this DONE, but found that you don't offer that and was sent to a list of some partners, however, not one of them claims to be expert in classipress so to me that is not a reasonable option/solution. I need help with THIS theme only. I would love to see you guys get incorporate pay for support so that the individual needs of these themes can be met without spending hours and hours searching for answers that don't seem to exist. It would make me highly recommend your themes because that is a deal breaker for me from now on.

I'm not sure what else I can tell you for now.
