A lot of parent category, without sub category

I'm installing the latest version of ClassiPress. I'm doing a auto ads website. What I did a created one parent category for each car brand. I didn't create any sub category. Here are my questions :
- How can I hide the message "No category" under each parent category?
- How can I do an advanced search for every custom fields that I created?
- How can I sort the search results by customs fields?
