    Unhappy Newly installed withl problems - Vs 3.0.5.3

    Hi,
    I just installed vs 3.0.5.3 to my site here .

    1. When I add a post it's being added automatically to the featured items, even if I don't check off the featured items box.

    2. Also when I added an add, it removed everything on the front page except for the featured listings. I had removed the blog posting that comes with wordpress, so I tried adding one back in, but that doesn't change it either. When I trash the ad item, the front page comes back.

    3. Finally I notice that the name of the add is displayed as "Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mb_strlen() in /home/content/g/r/a/granracing/html/classifieds/wp-content/themes/classipress/loop-ad.php on line 25". I see this in the featured add listing on the home page (which this ad isn't a featured ad), and in the category listing here.
