Not able to edit the custom fields in the ADs

Hi I am experiencing a big problem nowadays, when I try to edit the custom field of an AD, I am not able to change or delete that field value...It remains as its is after editing...also if I try to delete that custom field it also doesn't work.

Because of this I had to delete the AD and rewrite the whole things.........

This problem was not there earlier.

Can somebody please help me to Fix this problem.
