Only moderate users once

Hi,

I'm new to this theme but loving it so far

My clients are concerned that approving each listing manually will become very time consuming, is there a way to allow the listings of trusted users to go live without approval, similar to the wordpress comment system whereby a comment will go live if the comment author has a previously approved comment.

Alternatively is there a way to filter listings to prevent spam? what do you suggest as the best system for moderating listings?
