Refine by price not working when set from 0

Hi! I have noticed an issue with the advanced search / refine results option in the sidebar on my category pages. If I set the price slider range as going from "0" to any available number that is on the slider to the right, the refine results does not work properly. However, when I select any number instead of "0" for that end of the range, it does work. Most users will probably leave the left part of the slider at "0" so this would make it appear to the user that the feature is not working. Can someone take a look and let me know?
