Removal the classipress/appthemes advert in the header

As previous posts, I have tried to replace the classipress/appthemes advert with my own logo by uploading my logo to a location on my host account, then placing that URL into the ClassiPress Admin dashboard > Settings > "Web Site Logo" field.

But the classipress/appthemes advert is still there underneath my logo. In another post I saw the recommendation that you could remove it by putting this into css: div.header_top, div.header_main, div.footer {display: none;}

Any advice. Also I do not know css, so what file would I change and would this change make the theme unsupported.
