remove the categories tab from the top navigational menu

Hi,

I would like to remove the categories tab from the top navigational menu, this is because i have set up a static home page and a separate page for the ads/posts - just need to remove the categories tab from the top menu.

There is a similar thread:

but the code indicated does not appear in Classipress ver. 3.05

Please can some one offer any help?
