    Setting 'global variable' help ? please

    Hi,

    Anyone please help me with the following need/problem:

    I want to set a 'global variable' for example Europe in which I have cats like France, UK and sub-cats like Paris, London etc. I could search, add posts to categories in the MAIN 'global variable (category)' - Europe. I could change global var to America and do the same. Please think of GUMTREE page etc.
    How am I supposed to do it? Please help.
