Singple blog post breadcrumb and menu issue

Hi there, I have a strange menu issue here. I have my Blog on the homepage and my ADS page on the second menu page (called bank) as you can see here: http://www.jamjo.ie/sandpit/mutantspace/

I followed the solution here http://forums.appthemes.com/paginati...omepage-39917/ to achieve this and all worked well.
However if you click into a single blog post like so http://www.mutantspace.com/malin-gab...es-sculptures/ you will see that the menu item changes from Blog to Bank (which is my ads page). Obviously this is very confusing for the user and I am looking for a fix to make sure the main menu remains on BLOG when a user is looking at a blog POST. What I have done is listed below.

1. Made sure to save my permalinks.
2. Made sure that my blog categories are distinctly different to the ads categories so there is no confusion.

Nothing I have tried so far has resolved the issue of the blog menu item jumping to the Ads menu item when a user reads a single blog post.
