Thread: subdomain showing only one category

subdomain showing only one category

Hi!
I have general classifieds site and I wold like to partner with cars web site by offering my web site on their i.e. classi.partnercars.com subdomain. Subdomain would be parked on my server with existing classipress script - only one installation, I can redirect traffic from subdomain by htaccess.

Questions are:
- Can I limit classipress to show only one category (Cars and it's subcategories) when accessing by that subdomain? (and hide links to all other categories)
- Can I force it to load another template on subdomain? (with different logo and footer)


I know that everything can be done, I just need to know is it too much work, is it possible with child theme, or I'll have to alter original code, and if someone has done it, to point in right direction...
