URGENT URGENT! Issue with Paypal Payments
Hi,
I'm supposed to be going live with my site in 2 days and have hit a serious issue with paypal!
I have set up the IPN settings in my paypal account and turned them on in the gateway, fsockopen is one etc.
When making the payment from a paypal sandbox on my desktop pc the transaction goes through fine after payment, and the redirect takes me back to my site and shows as working correctly with the listing published.
However when trying from an iPad it does not work, i have tried using sandbox and actually sending payments with sandbox off and the same thing seems to happen - after pressing the publish button at the end of the paypal process the url hangs and doesn't go through (this is where you go from paypal back to the site with the add-new-confirm).
The paypal payment has gone through correctly and i have received the money however the dashboard still shows the listing as awaiting payment.
I get a 'fail' email saying 'validation post isn't from paypal' and a debug email
This is obviously unacceptable in a live environment - please help me to resolve this!
