Validation post isn't from PayPal

Hi,

I have a paypal account (a British one - that I never use) and my wife has a paypal account (American one) that is always used. I've just tried to test my site to make sure the payment system is working by paying for an ad from my British paypal account. The site is set up to use the American paypal account. The payment we just made was from the British one and was sent as an e-cheque.

When we posted the ad, we went through the paypal process and everything was fine, paypal seemed to work, we went through several stages and eventually clicked "pay now", the ad got posted and I recieved some emails from paypal saying that "Validation post isn't from PayPal", I also got one saying "IPN VERIFIED".

As the payment was an e-cheque paypal says it will take 5-7 days to come through.

What does "Validation post isn't from PayPal" and "IPN VERIFIED" mean? Are these bad things? I am pretty much useless at paypal (my wife sorts all that stuff out )

On the Classipress stats page we're not seeing any payments on the blue bar, mainly because I assume it's an e-cheque and will take several days to come through? Is this right..
