    Whats the difference between Categories and Ad Categories

    Hi, I have read the previous posts but no answer, but reason for my question is when trying to insert the custom fields search plugin, it searches by categories and not ad categories, should i reconfigure my site using just the categories and not the ad categories or is there a way to use the ad categories for this plugin. ?

    Please assist.
