Thread: When user edits title it rewrites permalink

When user edits title it rewrites permalink

So I have noticed if a users edit their ad title, it rewrites the permalink. However, if I (the admin) rewrite a title from the backend it does not (this is the way it should be).

I do have moderate edits turned on, not sure if this has anything to do with it, but regardless this should not happen. I have users often adding lines like "*price drop*" to their titles and this ends up changing their link and all Search Engine traffic to their page is loss to a 404.

Any ideas on this?
