Why is there lag when I work on the site?

Hello all,

Has this happened to anyone....I am working on the CP site in one tab and have the live site open in another.

Whenever I make a change (save a setting, add something or publish anything) I wait for it to load, go to the tab with the live site and refresh.

Every other site I have done in WP shows my changes instantly.

This one is "lagging", I do not know how to say it any other way. The changes seem to be being made, but it is taking a long time to "catch up".

Any ideas?
