How are "Clicks / Views" calculated in Clipper?

I have installed Statcounter plugin to track visitors. It's working since I have tested it.

I just found that almost every coupon has several clicks and more views. These clicks are not from me, I didn't click any of the coupon code button myself.

I checked the Statcounter logs, and never saw a real visitor to my site. It's strange, how these clicks come? Are they clicked by auto robot, since my site received 1-3 annoying spam comments daily, which Statcounter can't track.

Is there a way to track the real "clicks/views" for coupon?
