Select List field does not point to words starting with letters correctly

Select List field does not point to words starting with letters correctly.
When there is a select list with 10 words and 3 of them starts with 'M', for example, when you type 'D' once, only the first entry is highlighted and 2nd and 3rd never is highlighted to make things easier to the user when a lot of entries are available.
