Child Theme updated to JR 1.7.1 - Job Categories page broken?

Hi guys, please help

I'm using a child theme on my Jobroller installation: http://xperience.ie.

I updated to version 1.7.1 today and fixed all I could but one thing:

>>> when I click on the sidebar on a "Job Category" (see "find more internships"), it opens a blank page, despite there are Ads in each category.

Can anyone help?

Plus, all the theme-XXYYZZ.php files in the Child Theme are not overriding the parent any longer...?
