    Question Current Menu Item Style not getting applied for home page

    Hi,
    http://www.ecoblu.org/newjr/
    For all pages except the home page (that I created to he a "Jobs by Date" page) when a page is selected, the menu item gets the "current-menu-item" style applied.
    Not for the home page.
    If I try to use "Static Page" as first page, the site does not load.
    Any ideas? (I am decent PHP developer so if I am told which file can be changed for a hack, I am good)
