Indeed Job Listing Query Manipulation

i have read how the Indeed query is supposed to be set up. However, I'd like to know if altering it in the following manner would help me be more specific with the search results. I'm getting mixed results so far, but I'm making small change here and there and then waiting for the cron job (which I've expedited by adding the +60 in the theme-indeed.php file) But I just want to know if I'm wasting my time if these changes are not taken into account. Thanks.

Here is a sample of me attempting to get more detailed results....

cardiology AND "physician assistant"|5|US|fulltime|cardiology

I'm doing this so that I don't get results with 'physician' in them.

Please advise...
